Returns and Refunds Policy
Due to the perishable nature of our floral products, we handle returns and refunds on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Washington State law and consumer protection regulations. We understand that flowers are purchased for special occasions and want to ensure your complete satisfaction with every order.
Please note that floral arrangements are perishable items and cannot be resold once delivered. Therefore, our return policy differs from non-perishable goods.
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive flowers that are damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us immediately (within 24 hours of delivery) at ask@calmuaroma.world or +1 (425) 293-0919. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, which may include:
- Replacement with a similar or upgraded arrangement at no additional cost
- Store credit for future purchases
- Full or partial refund depending on the circumstances and timing
To help us resolve your issue quickly, please provide photos of the damaged or defective product and details about the problem.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your order under the following terms:
- Standard orders may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup date for a full refund
- Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a partial fee (up to 50%) to cover preparation costs
- Same-day orders and rush orders are generally non-refundable once production has begun
- Custom arrangements may have different cancellation terms as specified in your order confirmation
To cancel an order, please contact us immediately via phone or email. Cancellation requests must be confirmed by us in writing to be valid.
Delivery Issues
If there are issues with delivery timing, the recipient was not available, or delivery was made to an incorrect address, please contact us immediately. We will:
- Attempt to arrange redelivery (additional delivery fees may apply for re-deliveries due to recipient unavailability)
- Work with you to find alternative solutions that meet your needs
- Consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis if redelivery is not possible
It is your responsibility to provide accurate delivery information. We are not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Quality Assurance
We take pride in the quality of our floral arrangements. All products are carefully prepared and inspected before delivery. However, due to the natural variability of flowers, slight variations in color, size, or arrangement may occur. These natural variations do not constitute defects.
If you are not satisfied with the quality of your purchase for any reason not covered above, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution.
Custom Arrangements
Custom arrangements created specifically for your event are generally non-returnable once production has begun, as they cannot be resold. However, we will work with you if:
- Adjustments are needed before or during production (additional charges may apply)
- There are quality concerns or defects in the final product
- You cancel before production begins (subject to cancellation terms above)
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Refunds may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your financial institution.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact us to arrange an alternative refund method.
Washington State Consumer Rights
Under Washington State law, consumers have certain rights regarding purchases. This policy is designed to comply with applicable consumer protection laws while recognizing the unique nature of perishable floral products.
If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office or seek other remedies available under state law.
